SPYWARE
A spyware is defined as a software that enters our computer without our consent, hiding and making minor alterations that affect the use of it. One of the main features of spyware is the appearance of advertising windows that arise when we are working normally or when surfing the internet.
Spyware has the particularity of being able to open windows that try to sell products and services, specific to the information that was collected by those programs. There are miles of spyware-type programs and it is estimated that more than 80% of personal computers may be infected.
HOW TO AVOID IT
The best defense against spyware, as against most malware attacks, begins by assuming the correct behavior. Follow these basic measures as a self-defense mechanism against cyber attacks:
-Do not open emails from unknown senders.
-Do not download files unless they come from a reliable source.
-Place the mouse over the links before opening them and make sure you access the correct web page.
